Short Description of the DeFever 47
This DeFever 47' is found in excellent condition and has clearly been looked after by her current long term owner. Originally purchased as a support boat for his racing yacht, she has principally been used as a country cottage on the south coast by her northern based owner.
This lovely old motor yacht offers huge potential as a long distance cruiser, country cottage or a live aboard for those looking to enjoy a life afloat.

Accommodation
The DeFever 47' has a large bathing platform with steps to the aft deck with wide walk around covered side decks, high coamings and a large sun deck forward. Steps from the aft deck also lead to the flybridge with forward steering position and aft entertainment area with seating.
A door on the aft deck leads to the large open plan saloon with a seating/entertainment area to starboard, linear galley to port and the bridge forward. Doors either side of the bridge give easy access midships to the deck.
The saloon has steps forward leading to the master and guest cabins. The master cabin features an island double bed, an ensuite heads with hip bath and shower.

Owner's Comments of the DeFever 47
I have owned my DeFever 47' since 2017 and enjoyed cruising the south coast from my base in Gosport. She has been a joy to own and so comfortable for passage making or just sitting on my mooring and entertaining family and friends. I am now spending considerably more time with my yacht based in Liverpool and it's time to move on and let someone else enjoy this lovely motor yacht.
